spring poems

Spring

The bluebirds are chirping,
the yellow buttercups are swaying in the cool breeze.
A gray and white bunny is
hopping in the thick, long grasses.
The leaves are blowing while
they fall gracefully down.
The tire swing is swaying in
the gentle dew that is falling from
up high in the sky.
The frogs are leaping with feet outstretched.
The lily pads are so beautiful
with the sunset reflected on them,
they look like a rainbow floating
in that lonely pond.

Spring

Spring dances in, melting all of the
twinkling snow in her path.
The bears come out of hibernation
and follow spring to the blue, giggling
river for his first meal in a long time.
All the birds come back and dig in
the dark and wet ground, looking
for worms. The sun comes out from
the shady clouds, and the colorful flowers
of all shapes and sizes, reveal themselves
as they begin to bloom.

When Spring Comes

Spring dance in like the early rains.
When spring comes,
my dad and I
grow sunflowers that smile down at me.
When spring comes,
I am excited
because that means me and Hannah
get to go down to the creek
and catch slimy minnows.
When spring comes,
I feed the caramel brown horses
the sweet grass.
When I think of spring,
I think of easter and all the eggs
and love that fills the world.

Spring Dashes

Spring dashes in,
hitting a homerun.
His favorite sport is baseball
because he likes the sound
of the bat meeting the ball.
He loves all the blooming flowers
you can think of.
He loves to play in puddles
and splash around.
Spring loves to run through
the refreshing sprinklers.
"Eggs to find, eggs to find!"
shouts Spring. It's Easter
and candy is everywhere.

Spring Jumps In

Spring jumps in from a raindrop,
bringing victory and integrity,
commitment, honor, glory, victory.
Honor, glory, victory.

My spring remains supreme.

Honor is like a raincloud, getting removed.
Glory is blooming like a sunny day.
Victory is like playing in the sticky
mud with your friends.
Commitment is not stealing eggs
from little people on Easter Sunday.
Integrity is the baseball zooming back
to the catcher's mitt.

My spring remains supreme.

Spring

Spring leaps in, leaving flowers behind.
They sparkle like the sunshine.
They smell fresh and have bright colors.
Tulips and daisies bloom in my garden.
Rain is spring in the air.
Spring brings happiness to the world.
All the children are so happy.
The wind blows softly on a beautiful spring day.
Children smile and laugh.
The bugs play in the sunshine.
The sand on the ocean is sparkling
wet from the spring rain.

Spring Booms

Spring booms through the door
with his backpack filled with candy.
He has all sorts of candy, sun caramel,
dirt chocolate gummy worms filled with
sour liquids and more. He races to his
kick-boxing class and,
POW! His opponent is K.O.
Vrooom! He leaps home, ready
to go to sleep.
He is very tired and very proud.

In the Spring

I want to fly, but I don't know why
I want to fly.
That's why I am a bird and all I do is
sing like this,
"La! La! Tweet! Tweet!
La! La! Tweet! Tweet!"
It does not snow but I am
going to fly. Since I am a chickadee
what do I do? I don't sing like I wish to
or fly, so what do I do? You
cheep, cheep, cheep
oh little chickadee.
You cheep, cheep, cheep
Oh you cheep, cheep.
Okay. I'll cheep, cheep, cheep,
cheep, cheep, cheep!

And that's what you do
little bird.

Spring

Spring slides down the rainbow,
the brightest sparkles she leaves behind.
She grabs grand forget-me-not
flowers and let's sunny days
bloom from the puffy clouds.
She arranges her rainy, rainy
dress into a bouquet of flowers.
She lets the worm crawl out of
his bubbling cave.
She makes finds a blue piece of snow
and melts it away with one blow.
Night falls and in the morning
the circle repeats.

Spring

Spring spins in wearing her
blooming dress of flowers.
Spring arrives when, pop,
the sun shines happily over the big field
of springing buds. Spring comes when
the puffy clouds shine lively,
bright blue and smiles and giggles
come out of the grassy hill.
Spring swings from rainbow after rainbow.
Finally she floats down. You can find spring
playing in the mud with the worms or
soaring down with the rain.
When spring comes for a visit,
if you watch closely
when she walks by
the flowers bloom.

Spring

The sparkling snow has melted and
now it's the turn of spring.
Spring dashes through the door
like a baseball heading across
the field full of enthusiasm.
Spring is when the bears come out
from a long winter's sleep and
smell the fresh, spring rain.
Spring has come from
it's hiding place and
comes to welcome us every year
and spreads happiness and joy.

by Gracie

I like spring because of the flowers
with all the bright colors.
I bloom in a tulip and
leap in a rose.
I float in the sparkling water.
I fly in the fresh rain.
I spin in the puffy clouds.

Spring

Spring flies through the door
with the sun by her side.
When she walks, all the
poppies, forget-me-nots, daisies, tulips and roses bloom.
The sky bubbles with blue as her
appreciation shows. Fluffy bunnies scurry
in the long grass.
Bees pollinate the blooming life.
The tulips, red as lava, their lively petals
reach out to the sun.
Pow! A soccer ball comes leaping into the air.
Rain starts to fall and it smells
like the ocean. It's warm and peaceful again.
An egg! Yes! It's finally Easter.
Children play and spring
warms up once again.
